IAST diacritics in Devanagari fallback rendering?
When the platform generates a Devanagari rendering from IAST source, retroflex consonants like ṭ and ḍ map cleanly. But when a user copies text from the center panel, they sometimes get IAST with full diacritics mixed with the Devanagari. Is this a rendering bug or expected behavior in the fallback path?

I can reproduce this — it happens specifically when the script selector is set to Devanagari and you copy from the annotation channel at the bottom of the center panel. The annotation text is stored in IAST and doesn't go through the transliteration engine.

Good catch. The annotation layer should pass through the same transliteration step as the main body. Will log this for the frontend team.
